I was an avid consumer of this magazine in the ’70’s. I resubscribed about 6 months ago. I couldn’t seem to find a way to get a magazine for evaluation. Pity, it might have saved me the cost of a subscription.
This magazine covered the cars and technology that was often missing in American publications. I had little doubt that it would be worth reading. Now I am convinced that I was wrong. Quite possibly dead wrong.
Somewhere along the way, I found a statement of their current goal – they are not looking back and intend to write prose. That is a paraphrase… and I agree with one thing, they are not looking back. For me, they have lost their way. In some ways, that is a pun – the last issue was about getting lost.
My general recommendation is to look elsewhere if you want to know about new, recent or upcoming cars and technology. Maybe I will revisit this later. If you are looking for something more casual and more like casual entertainment, maybe it is for you.
