I have given up. I am new to this segment of racing. I am one of those folks that likes to know how things work. So, I started researching the “formula”. I wanted to know the similarities and differences. All of that was interesting – in as much as I could discover.
It is the racing that has gotten to me. I believe that they can and should solve the problem with bottoming out. It cannot be good for the cars, the driver or the track. But that is just an annoyance. I have truly grown tired (in a single season, no less) of couple of the personalities. The current leader is a particular pain. He probably is skilled, but he tends to be a jerk both on the track and off.
And what is the purpose when the outcome will be all but certain. For whatever reason, there seems to be no real ability for the other teams to compete. Maybe it has always been that way.
So, I guess my primary racing interest will be Indy.
